A Talented Performer

We’re always intrigued to see what novel ways to win from spins our preferred slot developers can come up with when we range over new releases to add to Neon Jackpot’s bulging virtual arcade. We recognise there’s a place for slots that conform to time-honoured traditions of slot rules and features since it’s often nice to jump into a new game without needing to read the rules if you’re familiar with classic slots like Cleopatra and Da Vinci Diamonds. However, we do love a little off-piste action, and Just For the Win has caught our attention again with its Reel Talent.

GOING INTO STORAGE

We’ve previously singled out Just For the Win for its engaging Rainbrew slot, and the company seems to have a flair for teasing out new ideas for features judging by this latest release. Our full review of Reel Talent can be found here, but the unusual feature that caught our attention this time is its ‘Symbol Storage’ concept. This is a very appealing idea that is a route to not only bonus respins, but also an opportunity to trigger what Just For the Win calls a Superspin. This latter treat is a special, supercharged opportunity to spin reels that will only feature three, two or one of the game’s paying symbols – that clearly creates far superior chances of a big win, with the potential of just having one symbol on the reels a shoo-in for success.

DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT

Whilst we’d never dream of telling our players exactly what they should play, we’re always keen to share our enthusiasm for new releases that offer something we think’s got a little X Factor. Reel Talent certainly has a little of that ‘X Factor’ in its graphical theme – it’s clearly inspired by TV talent show formats such as Mr Cowell’s famous fripperies – but it’s gone deeper with a feature that we really rate.
